We are a small family owned and operated IT Support business that has served residents and business in Taupo for over 25 years. Our philosophy in business has been to provide excellent service with honesty, integrity and value for money. We have steered clear of fads and always look to the interests of our clients as a priority.
Computers at Work began operating in Taupo since 1984, basically since the beginning of the personal computer revolution. We have seen a lot of "indispensible must have" technologies come and go in our time and this experience has helped us to help our clients navigate the ever changing world of technology with minimal hassle and maximum return on investment.
The business first started out as Computer Clerical Services with a Commodore agency. This progressed to selling Amigas and from there on into the world of PCs, MACs and the personal digital tools we use today.
Over the years we have grown our service offerings in step with our clients growing requirements for access from anywhere computing environments. We have also added managed services and cloud based services as needs have arisen.
We currently have 5 staff comprising, 3 technical/support, 1 workshop and front desk manager and 1 accounts and clerical manager.
